ABOUT

Chris grew up traveling, living in 10 different cities by the time he was 18. Chris began shooting at tem years old with a movie-camera, moved up through 35 mm, onto 8 x 10 Deardorff, and is currently using state of the art digital technology. Whether shooting landscape, urbanscape, studio or fireworks, Chris still sees cinematically. He studied photography at Rochester Institute of Technology, and studied photography and holography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

His bright, natural-filled studio is a warm, inviting place to be. Eclectic music and a laid back atmosphere make photo shoots with Chris seem like social gatherings with old friends.

The studio is in a loft building that has been a creative hub for 125 years. Originally housing craftsmen that designed and built parade floats and outlandish store decorations, the easy-going, enjoyable creativity still flows today.
